TESA College ID Camp 2023/2024
When a College ID camp is closed it will list CLOSED next to the camp. Camps will close when they hit maximum numbers (50 campers for College ID camps), numbers may be decided on COVID-19 Guidelines in place at the time of camps so that maximum number could be lower pending state, local and University guidelines. We will not be able to add campers once a camp is closed due to liability reasons. No mail in registrations will be accepted for camps that close. There are no exceptions to camps that close, we encourage campers to register early.

The College ID camps are designed primarily for the student athlete looking to play soccer at the next level. The University of Tampa staff runs all the sessions at the one-day camp and players are evaluated to what our staff feels is the level to play at the UT Men’s Soccer program. Most time blocks in the morning sessions will be geared towards technical skill development, with some tactical group training. All soccer campers will be grouped with campers of their similar level and age so we can focus on the recruiting classes for each graduating year. Some players may be moved up if we feel it is in the best interest of the player and it is safe for the player. This will maximize their learning experience and players are evaluated in game settings in the afternoon sessions. We also provide a tour of the athletic facilities and give a college seminar for players and families attending the camp. There may also be an assistant soccer coach (current or former player, TESA camp staff) working with the lead staff soccer coach in each age group.
**Players can participate in an older age group if the TESA staff feel they are at the level to compete in an older age group. They must also be able to handle the weight difference in moving up in age group. Safety is our main priority in players playing up in age group and this is a TESA Staff decision not a parent decision.
Lunch is provided at the College ID camps. Players are encouraged to bring their own water bottle and can bring a snack. Participants will not be permitted to share water bottles or snacks.
